YHWH: Discovering the Personal Name of God
YHWH is the personal name God revealed to Moses and appears nearly 7,000 times in the Hebrew Bible, usually translated as LORD. His name reminds us that He is eternal, self-existent, unchanging, and faithful. While YHWH is not literally proven to be the sound of breathing, every breath can remind us that life comes from God. Learning His name invites us not only to know more about Him, but to seek a deeper relationship with Him.
