About

I'm so glad you're here. My name is Amanda and I created Rooted in the Word out of a desire to help others know God more deeply through His Word. Like many people, I have experienced the need for truth, encouragement, and trustworthy biblical guidance in everyday life. Rooted in the Word was born from that place—a desire to create a space where people can return to Scripture, grow in discernment, and be strengthened in faith.

I also understand that a relationship with God is a journey, and I certainly do not have it all figured out. I’m still learning, growing, and being shaped by His Word myself. That is part of the heart behind this space. My desire is not to present myself as someone who has arrived, but to encourage others to keep seeking God, keep returning to truth, and keep growing in faith one step at a time.

My heart is to offer Bible-based teaching and resources that are both grounded and approachable, whether someone is just beginning to study the Bible or has followed Christ for years. My hope is that Rooted in the Word will encourage others to build deep roots in God’s Word and live with greater wisdom, confidence, and hope in Him.

Beliefs

Rooted in the Word is a non-denominational, Bible-believing ministry grounded in the conviction that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is truth. We believe that every person is born with a sin nature and has fallen short of the glory of God. We believe that salvation is found only through faith in Jesus Christ—through His death and resurrection for our sins. We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We also believe that salvation is secure and permanent for those who have truly placed their faith in Christ.
